I am inundated with music that inspires today.

i wake up to something invigorating every morning- this morning it is Tubthumping. I was feeling a little down. Feeling a little old today as my neighbors asked if I wanted to play bridge tonight. I am too young for that....But I said yes and dread it. It is an admission that I am closer to old than I am young.

But Tubthumping gets me going. On the way to work, Lady Gaga lets me strut my stuff to Love game, and I have to chuckle because for me that is Robert's Theme song. I can't help but be happy now.

At work I play classical, and Mozart always makes me feel better- so today was nothing but Mozart, mostly piano. I imagine Rob playing the piano for most of the morning.

I end my day with some Cole Porter and Elmore James. Classic musicians who make me think of my father. It makes me feel sentimental and calm. Calm is good.

I wish Rob would cut an album. I think it would be a phenomenal hit. I certainly would buy three or four...Then I would have something to lull me to sleep at night. For now, Never Think will have to do.

I am wondering if I am the only one who turns to jelly when I hear him sing.

That man's talent will be the death of me.

What is it that Makes Rob Irresistable

So Today's Question as I sit here with my tea and look at the pics of Rob on my computer:

What is it that makes him so irresistable?

Why are we so infatuated with this guy?






This is my top Ten list:

10.His chest- airbrushed or not, his chest is worth pulling into your own.
9. His legs- long and strong- they' ll go the distance.
8. His stubble- A man rough around the edges...
7. His hair- To feel your hands in it, would be heaven.
6. His hands- or more importantly those fingers- such talent in those fingers i am sure.
5. His voice- I would die if he ever sang a song for me.
4. His bashful way of handling the embarrassing questions- it makes him vulnerable and real.
3. His passion for his art- I love a man who is dedicated to his career and is passionate about it.
2. His smile- It makes me smile.
1. His eyes- The window to his soul- I could get lost forever in them.

In truth, I think he is a wonderful artist. His music and his acting make me think about my own life- do I have the passion that he has in what I do every day?

He makes me want to.

His courage to step out every day and perform, in front of the camera and for the public, makes me want to strive to be as incredible as he is.

Respect

I have a little rant about how much Robert is in the spotlight these days.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy seeing his face when I walk past the newstands. It's the ridiculous headlines and accusations that accompany those pictures that infuriate me. It's the fact that Mr. Pattinson is now constantly hounded by the paparazzi and crazed fans that think every waking moments (and the not so waking moments) belong to them, leaving Rob haggard from running away from the screaming and flashes of cameras.

I can admit to being obsessed with the man, but I RESPECT his privacy and his need to get away from the spotlight.
No individual, famous or not, should have to be subjected to the 24/7 insanity that he must deal with every day.
That's why i refuse to buy those magazines, and push for others to do the same.

Supply and demand theory.

I won't buy them.

I don't demand it, so don't supply it!

I am often embarrassed by the stories of women hounding him on the street, in the restaurants, even following him into the restroom to touch him or get something out of him.

It's awful.

In the last year, he has become a hunted being. You can see in his face the pain he has become subjected to. To deny his fans a smile and a wave, or an autograph because he is terrified of being mauled by hormonal women saddens me greatly. His public appearances must now be overseen by a team of Security personnel. It is wearing him down.

So all you crazy fans out there- give the guy a break. He's human. He's young. And yes, he's incredible. But let him live his life as well. To torment him is to drive him deeper into seclusion. If more people just respected him for him, maybe we would see the carefree and loving individual again, not the haunted and preyed upon man we see these days.

And don't even get me started on Rob and Kristen. I'll save that you another blog.

Thoughts on Spunk Ransom

Hi my friends,

So this is a compilation of thoughts on the man we know as Spunk Ransom, aka Robert Pattinson,

Things I have discovered, things i question, etc.

Feel free to join in. Let me know if you have an opinion on things.

A couple of tidbits/questions:

1. Favorite foods- Cinnamon Toast Crunch: comfort food when he needs it.
2. Speculation- I have heard he likes Diet Coke, but often see him drinking Coke or Pepsi. I have to wonder which he prefers.
3. Hot pockets- really? And if so, what flavor?
4. Sleep habits- while i doubt he gets much sleep with all the craziness of his life, do you think he is a pajama man, or a sleep au natural kind of man... I have my hopes...
5.His eyes- really- blue/gray or are they green/grey? i say green
6.He's athletic- He lied about this athleticism to get the role in GOF; so does he really snowboard? and play football?
