Ok... Can I just say that either EVERY FEMALE in the Pacific Northwest must have been searching for this movie, or my local stores fail to realize the demand for this DVD!

How Much is Too Much?

How Much is too much?
I mean, how much can Rob actually take before he goes absolutely nuts?
New Moon is open, and already he is being bombarded by new questions about Remember Me and Unbound Captives.

Personally I can't wait for these installments of Rob.
The trailer for Remember Me was awesome, Rob was incredible.
"I guess it's just here to tease me." my favorite line....

and Unbound Captives...
seeing Rob in Native American attire.....
yeah, I could handle that...as well as him speaking a different language...
yeah... could definitely handle that....

BUT I DIGRESS!

Honestly, can't we give him a little break?
Just a couple of weeks...
Or thru the holidays?
Come in folks....

It won't make the movies come out any faster....

I just don't want him to break down...
He needs a break...

Thankful

Things I am thankful for this year:

1. A good life- You never know what you have until its gone- cherish every moment.
2. Good Friends- Whether they are near or far, virtual or real- friends make the world a better place when times are hard, and will always be there for you.
3. Family- love them while you have them- regardless of their faults- they are still your family.
4. My health- I am healthy because I concentrate on it. So many times I could have let it go- I didn't.
5. My obsessions- yes- I am thankful for them- they keep my mind occupied and keep the bad thoughts from infiltrating.
6. My neighbors- they are my family. It's rare to really know your neighbors anymore. I am thankful I know mine.
7. Mother nature- you give me fantastic adventures when you are warm, and you make me reflect on my life when you are cold...

you might wonder why I am going off on this with a Rob Pattinson dedication blog.... i think everyone should sit back and reflect on what has made their year memorable.

Has Rob made mine memorable. Well, of course!
Rob, I am thankful for you putting up with the crazy fans, and allowing us to see your talent every day.
Rob, I am thankful for the smiles you bring to my face when I think about you (I know that sounds creepy, but you do brighten my day)
Rob, I am thankful you didn't give up on acting, even though I hope someday you do cut an album...
Rob, I am thankful that you continue to be the gracious and beautiful man you are. You haven't let fame tarnish you.

Ok... so New Moon is open.

110 days... 6 hours....

I have a problem i think...

1. That's a long time to wait.
2. I am not even off my high from New Moon, and i am already looking to the next movie...
3. i need a new external harddrive for ll my pics of Rob... obviously a 500 g harddrive isn't enough...
4. I re watch every interview i can find to satiisfy my fix.

Do others do this? Am i one of THOSE fans? the creepy ones that do nothing but think about their obsession day in and day out.

I'd like to think that I am not, but the back of my mind snickers at me and then goes off in search of more pics or juicy tidbits...

I'd like to say to myself:

Jen, get a life... there is no point in obsessing over someone you will never meet.
You will never meet this guy. Get on with your boring meaningless existence already.
Take up a hobby that is less destructive than fantasizing about Mr. Pattinson....
It's not like you are going to camp out in Vancouver during the next filming, right?

In fact i would never actively search him out. so I can't be one of THOSE fans.
just a creepy one then.

At Last

At Last. the day came...

I saw New Moon last night.

I won't discuss it much here for those who haven't gone to see it.
But I will say it is worth seeing more than once.
The love and pain and determination are all there.

I loved the Volturi fight scene.
I loved the idea of Edward fighting for his Bella, against the odds.

There are really no words to describe the incredible feelings i feel today.
Going to the midnight show with so many other fans- an incredible experience to be sure.
And that the crowd was so appreciative of the movie. I had expected a lot of talking and carrying on.
The theatre was quiet when it needed to be, and loud when appropriate.

Simply magical..
That's all I have to say about it.
simply wonderful.

Why I Love Him

This picture explains the true reason I love Robert Pattinson.
For all the fame, for all the popularity.
He still has the dignity to autograph and speak with his fans.

Seeing him with this little girl reminds me of how humble and gracious he is.
He could be a jerk and walk on by.
He could yell profanities at the crazy fans that stalk him.
He could do so many things.

But he doesn't.
He is still interested in what the fans want.
And He still takes the time for us.
He provides us with a smile to brighten our days.
He gives us a look that melts our hearts.
He laughs and we melt.


Simply awesome.
That's why I love him.

Almost there!

So here we are in the last couple of days before New Moon opens in theatres!
I am so excited. Finally i'll be able to see the three of these awesome folks in the movie of my favorite book of the series.

I am looking forward to seeing Jacob grown up,
I am looking forward to the angst of young love.
I am looking forward to love fighting for its right to be.

People wonder what it is that makes such a generic love story worth getting all excited about.

It's love peopl.
Not sex, not infatuation. But love.
Something that will hold up to the worlds danger and strife.
Love will conquer all.
Sometimes love hurts. But if its real- it will stand the test of time.

And that is what New Moon is to me.
Standing the test of time. Love will conquer al.
No matter how hard you try to squash it, it will be there.

Counting Down

I am counting down the days until I see him.
5 days- 2 hours, 15 minutes until I see him

Until I see his deep penetrating eyes.
His crooked smile.
His unbelievable jaw.

It's hard to believe the time is almost here.
I have waited for so long.
To see him again.

If only it were for real.

If only I could see him.
Speak with him.
I'd let him know
He was amazing.
So much more than we realize.

but alas.
I'll have to settle with New Moon.

The Three Musketeers

I love pictures that show these three together.
It reminds us of how collaboration can make things work.
We see Taylor, Kristen, and Rob enjoying one another's company.
They work well together.
Even if their characters are torn by fate.

I love the fact that while they are separated by age,
they enjoy being together.
You can see the chemistry between them.

It's what makes the films a delight to watch.
Knowing that this cast gets along so well.
Like family.
It's rare.

And I admire that.

Rob and Kristen

I want to make it clear.

I am all for Rob and Kristen being together.

As long as they are happy, and enjoy one another.
As long as it isn't out of convienence.

And even then.
WHO CARES?

It's their lives.
Their time.
Let them enjoy whatever makes them happy.
I am am so happy to see Rob happy these last few days.

I hope he can hold out for a few more days.
7 more days Rob.

Countdown

New moon opens in 9 day.
How many of you are counting down.

I am. but for different reasons.
Yes. I get to see Rob in the next installment.
Yes. I am dying to see what they have done with the book.

But I am looking forward to Rob getting a little more down time.
After this opens, he has some other shoots to do.
But he will be out of EDWARD mode for a little while.

I hope he doesn't have to suffer the way he did this summer.
Maybe they have learned to better protect him.

Maybe they'll rent an estate for him so he can get outside and walk around.
Maybe he'll get to spend a little time at home with his family.
Maybe he'll actually be able to admit for real he is or isn't...

Maybe he'll be able to relax and enjoy life again.
Nine more days, Rob.

New Moon

While I am a purist when it comes to messing with books when they become movies,
I have to say I am happy they are adding more of Edward into the movie.
I mean- who wouldn't...

I have seen all the trailers... looking forward to an early morning screening.
That way the fan girls are at school and it will be me and the twi-moms.
I can handle that.
I can't handle the screams and the crowds.

I'm a lot like Rob in that way I guess.
I could live without the craziness
That comes with this movie.
I just want to sit there in a dark theatre
With my Diet Coke and Red Vines.
And enjoy the movie.

I am looking forward to it.
So is my inner 14 year old fan girl.
10 more days!

Anniversary

Today is our anniversary.
Today we would have celebrated 15 years together officially.
He has been gone from me almost 2.
He was my first and only love.

I am posting this because I hope to find some peace by doing it.
Mike is gone, but I feel him every day
I think about him with every waking breath.
I hear his laughter in every echo of my mind.

I see him everywhere,
No matter how hard I have tried to erase the pain
In seeing him in everything, every day.
No matter how hard I have tried to change myself.
He is still with me, every step of the way.

His smiling eyes
So full of love.
They were windows to heaven.
They held me with adoration and hope.
They promised me an eternity of joy.

I miss those eyes.
I miss the intensity that comforted me.
I miss the Joy and rapture in them.
I miss the love.


I have loved very few men in my life.
My dad, who is gone from me as well.
And Mike.
I don't think I will ever love with the same intensity
Ever again.

Robert's Comments on Werewolves

Oh the thoughts that must be going through his mind at how Vmpires are better than werewolves...
I know a few reasons...

My Heart Breaks

My heart breaks every time I see Robert like this.
He has been through so much in the last year.
I wonder how he does it?
Would I have the strength to do it every day?
Would I have the energy to smile at every person requesting my time?
Would I look as tired?

I feel for Robert.
He may be young, but even the young burn out.
Does his agent not see that?
Do his fans not see that he needs a break?

He needs some time.
He needs a breath.
He needs his home.
He needs his loved ones.
He needs himself.

If I could, I would give him that.
Whatever he needed.
I would help.
If only to see his smile return.
His youthful and energetic eyes.
Instead of the torment.
And the frown.
To have a bit of himself back.

I would help. For that.

Beer and Rob

Ok. So I am sitting here with my Somer Honey Ale, contemplating life, when I see a photo of Rob drinking.
I can't fault him for his choices:

Be they his girlfriend (see below post)
Or his clothing choices (another entry please- i could go on forever!)
Or what comes out of his mouth sometimes.

But the boy has no real taste in beer.
I mean Heineken Light?

Ok I get that maybe he is watching his figure
(he and about 1 million women out there watching it for him)

But come on.
He's British.
There are better beers out there.
There are certainly better beers here in the states.
So why does he drink that watered down pathetic excuse for beer?

Could there possibly be a fault I have found in Robert Pattinson?

Even his "faults" are charming.
He just needs someone to educate him in the finer things.

Oh for the love of all that is holy!

I am so sick of hearing about Robert and Kristen!
Seriously, it doesn't matter to me whether they have shacked up or not, or whether their relationship is professional.
They have to be with one another day in and day out.
They are stuck fighting the same ridiculous paparazzi every day!
If anything, folks, we pushed them together by denying them their privacy.

I think it is tragic that we obsess with Hollywood couples so much
That we feel the need to shorten their couple names
Robsten, TomKat, Bradjolina.
Seriously, the world is a mess enough as it is without all the buzz over who's with whom...


Would I be upset if the rumors are true and they are an item?
The 14 year-old in me would be crushed.
But the woman I am knows that he is just an idle fantasy.
He deserves to be happy.
He deserves to have love.
With whomever he decides that should be.
He deserves every bit of joy we have in our lives.
If he finds that in Kristen or Emile or Camilla
That's his choice.
NOT OURS!

Get a grip people.
I they are an item- bless them.
They have a hard enough time being individuals.
Let alone having to juggle separate shooting schedules and rumor mills.

It's not for me to pine over.
I just want him to be happy.
However he can.
I want him to enjoy his life while he can.

My secret fascinations with Rob are his silly mannerisms and goofy looks captured by the press.
It's a sick fascination.
Why would anyone find pleasure in embarrassing photos or quotes of someone, especially someone you have never met.

I guess it is because we put Rob on this pedestal, we make him out to be this god.
When really he is just a guy. A kid really. Just stepping out into the world.
He can be vulnerable. He can be silly. He can put his foot in his mouth.

The difference between his goofiness and mine?
The difference is he is famous and I am not.
He is under the public eye, and I am invisible.

We have so much to enjoy about Robert.
His good looks, his excellent musical skills, his acting.

But I like the goofy Rob best.
He's just a guy.
And I love that about him.

It's that kind of day.

An Effect on Me

I am baffled by the intensity of the effect Robert has on me.

Does anyone else feel this way?

I wake up every morning from an unfinished dream with Robert in the starring role.

I don't think I need to go into details of said dreams, and frankly some of them are quite straight-laced.

But the fact that my unconscious mind can't block him has me perplexed.

The man intrigues me with his art. I am looking forward to seeing Little Ashes to see his versatility. Sad to say my small little town theatre didn't show it, so I must wait for it to come out on DVD, but I look forward to seeing it.

I honestly look forward to any Non-Edward thing he does. Don't get me wrong- i enjoy him as Edward, but I am more connected tot he man, Rob Pattinson, than to the fictitious characters he portrays. His mannerisms in real life leave me breathless. What gets me swooning, you ask?

Here's the list of things he does that I'll never tire of:

1. The hair pull- Seriously that man should be bald for all the pulling and running of fingers through those locks. I am so glad he has great strong hair genes!

2. The lip tug- every time he pulls his bottom lip into his mouth- melt. It shows how vulnerable he really is. Edward wouldn't do this...

3. Licking the lips- Another nervous reaction- at first I just wanted to get the boy some chapstick, then i started really thinking more about that tongue... and those lips...enough said...

4.That smile- not just any smile, and not the crooked one everyone associates with Edward (although that one is wonderful too). No,the bright and genuine smile that crinkles his eyes up and sparkles. It is moodlifting and infectious.

5. The eye stare- His eyes are so telling, every look he has is incredible, but the intensity of his stare, drawing you into his soul, seeking you out. sigh.

6. The nervous look down- whenever he gets bashful or nervous, he raises his eyebrows and looks down- so sweet and vulnerable.

So, yes. He has an effect on me.
